Privacy Policy
Last updated — June 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information BleepEdit collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website, applications, and related services.
01Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated as you use BleepEdit, and information from third-party services you choose to connect.
- —Account data: name, email address, company, and billing details.
- —Content data: the flows, messages, templates, and segments you create.
- —Contact data: the recipient records you import or sync into the platform.
- —Usage data: log events, device and browser metadata, and feature interactions.
02How We Use It
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve BleepEdit, to deliver the messages you configure, to provide support, and to keep the service secure.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your contact data or message content to train external machine-learning models.
03Email Data & Processing
When you send through BleepEdit, we process recipient addresses and engagement events (such as opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes) to deliver messages, optimize send times, and protect deliverability.
We act as a data processor for the contact data you upload. You remain the data controller and are responsible for having a lawful basis to email your recipients.
05Data Sharing & Subprocessors
We share data only with vetted subprocessors that help us run the service — including cloud hosting, email delivery infrastructure, and analytics providers — under contractual data-protection obligations.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of BleepEdit, our users, and the public.
06Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Engagement and log data are retained on a rolling basis to support reporting and abuse prevention.
When you delete data or close your account, we remove or anonymize it within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
07Security
We protect data with encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), strict access controls, network isolation, and continuous monitoring. Our practices are independently audited to SOC 2 Type II.
No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information and will notify affected users of any qualifying breach as required by law.
08Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing.
- —EU/UK residents: rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- —California residents: rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
09International Transfers
BleepEdit operates globally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect cross-border transfers.
10Children's Privacy
BleepEdit is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.
11Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the product or by email.
